Bootstrap-ready Rover Chassis

A customizable chassis and mounting system is featured on this small rover/robot design, adjustable according to the balsa wood shaft length. It was used as a structure for a line-following robot. For neat wiring, multiple zap-strap holes are incorporated into the chassis. Two motors with regular servo form factor can be mounted on it; the stand-off spacing is suitable for an Arduino UNO's hole pattern. A spring-loaded battery case for a specific cellphone battery size fits below the chassis, designed to fit a particular battery available. Additional sensors and circuits can be attached to the balsa shaft. All parts are printable without supports (though some bridging is needed). The holes and captive-nut holes are sized for 4-40 screws/nuts, providing extra room for printing margins.
