Boots Industries BI V2.5 Glass Bed Holders

Boots Industries BI V2.5 Glass Bed Holders

thingiverse

The original acrylic Boots Industries bed holding clips failed after a lot of printing and had warped/softened significantly.\nI created these new clips to fit the original 320mm glass plate perfectly with contact around its entire edge, rather than just at two points.\nThe design also uses an extremely thin set of layers (0.8mm) to firmly hold the plate in place.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Boots Industries BI V2.5\nRafts: No rafts were used.\nSupports: None were added.\nResolution: The resolution was set at 0.2mm for a high-quality print.\nInfill: Infill density was set between 30-50% for optimal strength and weight reduction.\nNotes: It's essential to use a high temperature plastic, not PLA, due to its lower melting point. ABS is also suitable as it maintains its shape without deforming at the BI V2.5 bed's highest rated temperature of 110 degrees C.
