Boots, the Snow Owl Aarakocra. A new player joined our D&D game, and his character concept was so captivating that I decided to model it the next morning. He's a bird who has an affinity for boots, but his talons relentlessly tear right through them. As a cleric, he wields a hammer, which is why I included one in the model; however, you can easily add your own preferred weapon to give him a unique look. To convey his admiration for his boots, I positioned him looking down at them. I wanted to depict him as if he were crushing a small barrel while gazing at his beloved boots. This image seemed fitting given his character concept. The wings, body, base, and hammer all originated from DesktopHero. The head was remixed from an owl model, and the claws came from a talon model that I also remixed. To complete the scene, I added a barrel for him to be crushing under his boots. All of this was done using 3D Builder, where remixing and blending were employed instead of sculpting. The painting of the mini was skillfully handled by a friend.
