Booties for 3D Robotics Y6 and Y8
thingiverse
I reluctantly concede, I left my drone hovering above my wife's meticulously crafted wooden kitchen table. In a split second, its wheels slid slightly and imperceptibly scratched the surface. A week passed, during which time I spent time outdoors with the dog, fortunate enough to hunt for squirrels beneath an arching bridge. To rectify the situation, attachable booties were developed to safeguard the legs of my Y6 or Y8 drone. Have fun enthusiasts, these booties not only add style but also exude confidence and swagger to your aerial vehicle. Instructions: There's really nothing complex here. Unscrew the 4m screws holding the bootie in place and secure it. Ensure a gap is left between the two leg parts, so they don't get stuck together. You will need to replace the bottom 4m screws with longer 8m ones.
