Boostinjdm Five33 Tiny Trainer TPU parts
thingiverse
I decided to make my Tiny Trainer 4s. That required a larger battery pouch. The camera I chose (foxeer Razer nano) required a new nose for it to fit. So I got to work. Before I knew it, I had redesigned every TPU part on the tiny trainer and added a few of my own. I have successfully printed all of these parts and some are in use on my own Tiny Trainer. Others are slight variations to fit more standard builds. All parts have been designed around a .4mm nozzle and .1mm layer height. The pouches are flat do not require supports. Everything else does. Especially the noses. All of my parts have been designed from scratch. Some have taken inspiration from the originals, but I started with a blank slate and some basic measurements of mounting points and the components i was trying to fit. The 4s pouch is designed to fit a CNHL 4s 450mah long style battery. The 3s noses are the same width as the canopy and match up well with 3s pouches. The 4s noses are a little wider at the bottom to match the width of a 4s pouch. The "short" noses fit cameras like the Foxeer razer nano 1.8mm and the Toothless 2 nano standard 1.8mm. The "long" noses have the mounting screw set back a little and a longer lense protective ring. It fits the Toothless 2 nano Starlite perfectly. It should fit others as well, but I don't have any to test. The noses will allow for 25-45 degrees of camera angle. The Battery sleeve is really just a spacer to make 3s batteries fit the fat 4s pouch. i like having options. The Batt Dummy is just a filler piece I made to help the pouch retain it's shape when storing. It is modeled after the CNHL 4s 450mah pack I use and I can only vouch for it fitting my pouch design. I printed my Batt Dummy out of PLA with 3 walls and some infill. Use a small ziptie to secure the lead wires to the batt wire retainer. I am still adding new pieces and variations to my designs. I may do some nose versions with air scoops for better cooling. Also considering a Fin/vtx antenna support. I will try to add some pics of the parts in use as I get a chance. I don't have them handy at the moment. I'm open to critique and suggestions, but don't get offended if I ignore them. I can only do so much and prefer to stick to designs I would use myself. You're on your own for odd stuff I have no interest in. I'm new to Thingiverse and don't know how the whole "Tips" thing works, but any tips would be greatly appreciated and rolled right back into printing supplies or parts to design more things around. ETA By request, I have added a 4s nose for the Nebula Pro. It is experimental at this point since I don't have a cam to test fit. Tramol reports that the nose works.
