Boosted Board V2 Skid Plates

Boosted Board V2 Skid Plates

thingiverse

Hello everyone, I'm excited to share my updated version of the boosted skid plate design. This new iteration boasts slightly thicker walls, a full 0.5mm to be precise, which provides added strength and durability. Additionally, the bottom surfaces now feature rounded edges, eliminating the need for support structures during printing. The latest design is carefully optimized for successful 3D printing, ensuring a seamless setup process that saves you time and effort. I recommend using only the highest-quality materials, including Nylon, Nylon X, Nylon G, Ultem, PEAK, or SLS with nylon 12. These materials are specifically designed to withstand impact forces and can handle repeated hits without sustaining damage. In contrast, standard PLA is not a suitable choice for this design, as it may last only a few impacts before failing. If you're looking for a more durable solution, Nylon X has proven itself capable of withstanding over 500 miles of use. Please note that this file is not identical to the original; I've made deliberate modifications and optimizations to ensure its success in 3D printing. If you don't have access to a 3D printer or are interested in purchasing a printed version, we invite you to visit our website at ant3dprinting.com. We'll be offering high-quality prints for just $15, complete with free shipping within the United States.
