Boosted Board Accessory Plate
thingiverse
I have a Boosted Board that gets me around town, and I needed a way to keep all of my accessory pieces organized neatly. This is what I came up with. This accessory plate holds the battery charger with a separate clip for its barrel plug, a unit skateboard tool, and has a peg to hang the hand remote from if a wrist strap is being used. Everything I need is right where I can find it, and kept out of sight beneath the board when it's on the hanger. Instructions The plate is approximately 200 mm square, so a large volume printer is required to print it. I produced mine on a LulzBot TAZ5, an Ultimaker would also work, or maybe one of the new MB Replicators. I printed in ABS with 10% infill, but the charger doesn't get particularly hot, so PLA would do just fine as well. Many of the structures have overhangs, so printing with support is necessary. I put four screw holes in the design for symmetry, but honestly the charger isn't that heavy, so one could get away with only using two. I recommend using plastic drywall anchors unless it's being screwed directly to a stud.
