This print serves a crucial purpose - to prevent scorching your fingers against the hot choke coil of the MT3608 voltage boost module. No extra screws are needed, but exercise caution when handling the wires and circuit board to avoid any damage. It's worth noting that the case compresses the wire in two instances: one instance where it pinches the wire against the circuit board, and another where it pinches it against the case itself. Take care not to apply too much pressure, as a blunt tool may be required to fit the wires into the case effectively. To ensure effective strain relief, you'll need approximately 1.8mm of thickness. The more pressure applied to the wire insulation, the stronger the cover will fit due to wall deflection. Technical Specifications: The MT3608 modules are rated for 2 amps, but they can get extremely hot when operating at this level. This is something to keep in mind when handling or packaging these modules. Fortunately, most of my applications run under 1 amp, making them ideal inline voltage boosters.
