Ash's Boomstick from Evil Dead 2 / Army of Darkness / Ash vs Evil Dead is a formidable shotgun that has been used by the character Ash in various movies. Although referred to as a Remington in Army of Darkness, the actual shotgun used is a Stoeger Coach Gun. Credit for creating this model goes to "Rabid Beagles" who designed it on Sketchup 3D Warehouse. This creator also has other impressive models with intricate details that can be easily modified for 3D printing. To add a more realistic touch, I included a hinge point in the design. This requires inserting a screw or metal pin to act as the pivot point, which I accomplished by using one of the small metal pins discarded after using a pop rivet. The pin was cut to the correct length and glued over the hole on the outside once it was inserted. For added stability, I created small slots to insert strong magnets at the top and bottom of the shotgun, allowing it to remain closed while still being easily opened.
