I've bought a versatile mp3 player 4 years ago and have finally found the motivation to use it effectively. It comes equipped with a reliable 4.2-volt power supply and a powerful stereo 3W output. I recently ordered additional speakers and a bluetooth module from Aliexpress, which proved to be a great investment. I also added Soviet-style analog level meters M467 with a logarithmic amplifier on an Attiny13 microcontroller. The mp3 player's parallel charging circuit is powered by a TP4056 charger, and I've used a 10 cm telescopic antenna for optimal reception. The mp3 player (currently sold out) can be purchased from Dx.com: http://www.dx.com/p/digital-audio-mp3-player-module-with-remote-controller-1-5-lcd-57557. Alternatively, you can try buying the same module on Alibaba: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/DIGITAL-AUDIO-PLAYER-MODULE_60698499538.html. The bluetooth module I used can be purchased from Aliexpress: http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/TDzrl0G. The 3W speakers I chose can also be found on Aliexpress: http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/fl5W8h2. For the 18650 battery holder, I recommend checking out this link: http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/c7ajRNuU. To assemble the project, I glued all the boxes together before soldering any wires or connections. The covers were then attached after the wiring was completed. To secure the battery cover, I used four round magnets (4x1 mm) which were glued in place at an angle.
