This is a microphone boom pole XLR cable clip. It secures the cable to the boom pole, preventing noise when recording by keeping it from dangling around. Three sizes are available, each designed to fit different boom pole diameters. The one I have features a three-section telescoping rod system, requiring multiple sizes for secure fitting. A standard 6mm wide XLR cable fits into the clip's end. The clip's width adjusts according to the boom pole size and type used.
