Boom for Stand Lamp
thingiverse
Build a DIY photography lamp stand that's perfect for common use. I utilized a 1/2" curtain rod as the base, which provides excellent stability. The ball size on this versatile stand is 14mm, making it easy to adjust and maneuver. You'll need the following parts: M3x24 bolts and nuts for securing the clamp in place. M3x10 bolts, washers, and nuts for creating a counterweight system that ensures smooth motion. To assemble the counterweight piece, fit a bottle cap onto the rod, then drill a 3mm hole through the center of the cap. Next, screw the head of the bolt into the piece and secure it with a nut on the other end. Add washers to both ends for added support before tightening everything in place. Once assembled, apply glue to hold the counterweight firmly onto the boom. To explore updated shade designs, check out this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1766216
