This is a straightforward T bracket designed to repair a distressed particleboard bookshelf that has taken on the appearance of the leaning tower of Pisa. The boards on our shelf are 16.5 mm thick, so I fabricated the bracket with 18 mm spacing to allow for slight shrinkage - MDF doesn't shrink much. For other plastics, I would scale it up slightly. The holes for each screw are 6 mm in diameter. I've included a technical drawing so if anyone wants to modify it to fit different board thicknesses they'll have an easier time with it.
