If you're one of the many people who have trouble recalling where they left off while reading a book, consider using this clever bookmark as your solution. To keep track of your place, simply insert the bookmark at the end of your page with the thumb/finger catch facing the side from which you typically open your book. This way, every time you return to your marked spot, the bookmark will automatically flip to the correct side. I designed a few different variations for fun, and this bookmark measures 3 inches long by 1 inch wide by 0.05 inches thick. If you'd like to experiment with creating your own bookmark, I've uploaded the Solidworks files so you can tinker with them as desired. When printing this bookmark, I used settings of .1mm resolution, 60% infill, and a speed of 45 mm/s. Given its thin dimensions, I chose a higher infill percentage to ensure it wouldn't break apart easily. Fortunately, my design has held up well so far, making it a reliable option for keeping track of your reading progress.
