Week 3 Challenge and Constraints: This week's challenge issued by Ultimaker required creating a customized/specialized bookmark within the parameters of Tween, Evening, and the Netherlands. Upon considering the Netherlands, one of the first things that comes to mind is the abundance of tulips grown in its countryside. Tulips are a type of flower stereotypically associated with an evening dinner setting. My favorite television show is Sci-Fi series Fringe. In Fringe, Walter, a main character, seeks forgiveness for his scientific experimenting and disregard for social norms through white tulips. The bookmark's top features a hole for attaching tassels or incorporating personalized materials. To ensure functionality and fit within a book, the product was designed to be thin (1/16"). However, this delicate design may require compensation when printing to prevent fragility.
