A figurative book can be incredibly charming for a library or university setting, isn't it? A sculptural representation of an Arabian man's head can serve numerous purposes. When designing this model, I was enrolled in a graphic and 3D course back home, where our team worked on a graduation project to create a 3D library using Max software. Our designated location was my hometown, which is home to a closed museum since centuries ago. My teammates suggested, "Why imagine something non-existent when we can revive an already-existing landmark?" The Italian House earned its name due to the historical connection that Italy was set to win World War II; Italian officials relocated to my city's Port Said district and lived in this abandoned mansion. This property, however, fell into disrepair following World War II. It had been forgotten for centuries, despite housing both a library and theater. Thus, it's now popularly known as The Italian House due to its historical significance, featuring a stunning library and performance space where my design came into existence – creating this book stand as one of the decorative elements in its garden. Interestingly, its use cases extend beyond what you might imagine.
