Book Holder

When purchasing a new book, readers often desire an easy-to-read experience with the book remaining open. However, new books need to undergo "binding breaking" as their fresh bindings cause them to close shut without being held open. Until the binding weakens from use, this occurs. My redesign idea incorporates a holder for the book, which keeps it open and provides a comfortable handle. The bottom piece maintains an unobtrusive design that doesn't block the text. Additionally, there is support for the binding and a handle. This allows for free movement while reading. Furthermore, many individuals enjoy note-taking alongside reading. My redesign facilitates this by offering simple note-taking capabilities with just one hand needed to open and hold the book comfortably. The FDM Fusion deposition modeling technique and PLA material were used in its construction. Bergen County Academies is my school, and Joseph Defalco is my instructor.
