The idea of this model was to create piggy bank for banknotes. You will need 2 standard 3(high)x6(diametr)mm magnets and glue.Pining book cover to the base occurs with 20 cm filament peace.P.S. Added book_cover.step file that can be opened and changed with 3D apps to add titles on the cover.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:PrusaPrinter: i3 MK2SSupports:NoResolution: 0.2Infill:20% Notes: Book_base I printed with 0,2 and 0,35 mm resolution but liked more 0.35 mm version.Book_cover and Book_corners printed with 0.2 mm because spaces between these objects is 0.2 mm and I tried to save this value during prints.Post-Printing =============Print all parts for the cover:Use glue to connect all parts:Use glue to set the magnets.Note: My magnets highs was 2.7mm and I did holes for this size. Now lets do same with Book_base.Remove the build-in supports:Take filament peace around 20 cm size and pin book cover to the baseUse glue to pin it, in my case I warmed the filament peace from one side and push it inside. And the last tip.An alternative print of book lock. 1. Print book lock separate from cover corners.2. Slow down printer speed to the minimum 3. Wait till second level perimeter will be completed and pause printrn.4. Change filament, wait till lock hole will be filled and change filament again.Note: the idea is to do different color in hole only. The final results should be look like this:
