Booger Moai
prusaprinters

This was a silly shower thought that I quickly made reality. I adjusted the Moai statue in Tinkercad to fit tealight candles without their metal cup. This allows the wax to flow freely.

Green candles are recommended for the best effect.

I printed this with a .8 nozzle on an Ender 3 Pro, with Low infill using PLA. No supports necessary.

BE AWARE of the filament you are using, and that it is not going to melt or catch fire. This is for novelty purposes, and you should not keep the candle unattended. After melting the wax, I put an LED tealight in.

After printing and sanding, I finished with a gray Krylon high build automotive primer, and then Rustoleum "Stone" texture spray paint. I used a fairly light coat of the stone texture, since it was a lighter color than I hoped for, but the only one in stock.

You can see a video of it in action here: https://imgur.com/gallery/d22wk0Z
