BooBoo - all 2020 Bearish/Hariboish 3D Printer
thingiverse
I've built a couple of printers recently that are based on the Crearibo design. I had some 2020 extrusions left over, so I decided to build another one using them. This new printer uses seven 350mm long 2020 extrusions. The one in the photos uses 300mm extrusions for the X beams, but I'm planning to switch them out for 350mm extrusions. The 8mm rods are 330mm long on the X and Z axis, while they're 380mm long on the Y axis. Metal brackets purchased from Walmart or other stores were used for the 90-L & Tee Brackets. The Y belt holder, Y carriage plate, X carriage, and hotend/extruder are all Prusa Mk2s parts. I call this printer BooBoo because it's similar to a small bear, so I named it after one of my favorite cartoon characters. I updated the ZTop and YMotor files. I remixed a SKR case to fit the printer and added a spot for a 30mm fan on top, as well as a new hole on the bottom for wiring access. I also remixed a PowerSupply cover to work with this printer. I've modified some parts from other users to use in this project. The X Ends are from Vekoj - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2957916, the Haribo 2020 Z Rod Holder is by Kendler - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2791085, and the 90-degree Corners are from subcityzero's The BEST 2020 corners - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2502931. Additionally, I used Y Belt Holder parts from Prusa and SKR 1.3 Enclosure 3030 by c4krauss - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3662028/files. Finally, the 360W PSU Cover Update is from DRPrinting3D - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1927401.
