BOOB KOOZIE/CUP

This koozie or cup is designed to fit the standard 66mm can, which is commonly used where I live. It's essential to measure your can before printing, as dimensions may vary. The design can be easily scaled up or down to accommodate different can sizes. The koozie's dimensions are typical of a standard cup, making it a versatile print that can serve multiple purposes. I printed this design using my entry-level 3D printer, which performed admirably despite its limitations. I'm eager to upgrade and explore the capabilities of higher-end printers. If you've achieved better results with your own printer, please share photos so we can learn from each other's experiences. To ensure optimal insulation performance, I opted for a 30% infill density, which allows for the formation of honeycomb air pockets that help keep drinks cold. This design feature is crucial for maintaining temperature control. I set my print settings to a layer height of 0.2mm, which provided a good balance between detail and printing speed. For this project, I used ABS filament in a single color, as it was the only option available at the time. However, ABS can be prone to warping, so I added a raft and support structure to ensure a stable print.
