Boo Blocks

Update 5/26/2019 Adding a v19 version of the blocks, slightly looser dimensions that seem to be a better balance between fitting together easily and still holding well. Lately I've been printing these at 75% scale, which seems to be a nice size. ---------- Designed similar to wood blocks my father cut 40 years ago when I was a kid. I have more pieces to come. I uploaded a copy of the original magazine article that my father had based his on. My design follows that one, somewhat, but makes a few key changes. First, the teeth are a uniform size, so two pieces can fit together like a zipper. I also added the holes in the middle of the pieces, allowing yet another way to connect things. I used metric measurements too, unlike the original. I've played with making these at various sizes, though the most popular with my kids seems to be the size I've uploaded. You can also make them at 50% and they still work well. Depending on your printer, it's possible these will fit too tightly. If a lot of people comment on that, I've got a set with slightly more forgiving measurements I can upload.
