I crafted a custom planter for my bonsai, utilizing PLA initially but ultimately shielding it with transparent spray paint to safeguard against weather exposure. To prevent soil from spilling out, I also designed a small grille that must be placed over the opening. PLA is relatively delicate and can easily accommodate holes drilled into it to secure the plant to the vase using wires.
