Bong Converted BBQ Case

Bong Converted BBQ Case

I converted an old BBQ utensil case that I picked up at a thrift store into a case for my bong. The case was too narrow for the base of my bong so I printed bulges to fit the extra width of my bong. I cut out the sides of the old BBQ utensil case to fit the shape of the bulges and hot glued them in place. I printed three feet that are the same height as the bulge and hot glued them to the underside so that the case would sit flat. (The bulge is the fourth foot.) I printed two tiny cylinders the same height as the hinges and hot glued them opposite the hinges so that I could store the case upright. I coloured any exposed cuts in the case material with a black Sharpie. I cut some black elastic material, formed them into loops and hot glued them into the case to hold a variety of accessories. The base of my bong has diameter of 12 cm, a height of 37 cm, and a throat with a 5 cm diameter. If I had to do it all over again I would have located the position of the bong closer to the hinges so it could face that opposite direction. This way the opening for the down stem would face up when the case is stored upright. This would prevent any water dripping out into the case after the bong was emptied.
