A mysterious bone was discovered on the Spanish galleon Santa Clara, which sank in 1564. Measuring 19.2 centimeters long and 5.0 cm wide, this unidentified bone has sparked curiosity among historians. Although it is currently unknown, experts suspect that it may be a fragment of a cow's scapula due to evident butcher marks at both ends. The presence of these marks suggests that beef was consumed on board the ship during its ill-fated voyage.
