Bone
grabcad
Introducing my latest design: a hollow bone-shaped bracket, modeled using Rhinoceros for organic structuring. Reinforced with muscle-like rims to resist specific loads, I'm currently working on optimizing its thickness to get under 400 grams. FEA testing results have been impressive, passing all tests with flying colors. I used Inventor 2014 but plan to retest with more sophisticated software like Abacus. Adhering to contest guidelines, I've kept constraints as infinitely stiff bolts and pins for accurate simulation results, evident by the absence of large red spots near holes. Stay tuned for an improved version soon!
