Edit: Added Stepfiles for the New Baseplates and shuttle Edit: New base plates and sensor shuttles added. The new design features less play. To ensure a precise fit, insert the shuttle at a slight angle and click it into place. Use an M3 screw instead of drilling holes to minimize play. This also creates more space for attaching sensors. Edit: New topplates designed by Jooole are now available for Bondtech MK2.5s, MK3s, and Mosquito designs, which can be found in the Thing Files despite not being visible in the pictures. Edit: Step files have been included. Edit: A sensor cover with a latch for cable connectors has been added. To adapt my MMU2S with an IR sensor to my MK3 with a Bondtech extruder, I created a new topplate with sensor housing. This design features an LED indicator that visually displays the detection of filament. The detection point can be easily adjusted by one screw within 5mm of space. If you prefer not to remove the door hinge and replace it with the integrated tab, you can use a drill jig to create a 3mm hole for gluing in a tab. Topplates for M5, M6, and M10 couplers are included. You may need to cut a small piece from the tab to ensure it fits within the sensor, depending on the play of the door hinge. A firmware update is required due to the height of the Bondtech extruder. Define Z_Max_Pos as 210 instead of 205. Required parts include: M3x30 screw, square nut M3, Nyloc nut M3, 3mm LED, and a resistor with 560 Ohm resistance.
