BONDTECH MK3s MMU2s IR sensor
thingiverse
I replaced the ir sensor after installing the BONDTECH extruder upgrade kit on my Prusa MK3s and MMU2s. The top plate now uses PC4-M10 instead of the original M5 because I didn't have an M5 thread insert available. To make adjustments easier, I installed a shorter M3x10 pin for the ir sensor. Simply move the pin in and out until it reaches the middle point marked "0" on the display, then secure it with a M3x10 screw. I also added a cap to the stock hinge and used a longer pin to improve stability. Additionally, I inserted an LED indicator into the connector for extra visibility. The necessary parts are: Screw (M3x30), Screw (M3x10), Nut (M3), Nyloc Nut (M3), PC4-M10, Small LED, 560ohm Resistor.
