I was thoroughly disappointed with the Creality all metal dual gear drive extruder. My experience with it was very poor. Although it looks nice, it suffers from serious design flaws. The grub screw was too long, making it impossible to rotate. The spring was way too hard, crushing the gears against each other and causing it to self-destruct. Not a great experience at all. However, I have a genuine Bondtech extruder on another printer that works flawlessly. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive, so I chose to modify a design to make use of the parts from the Creality Extruder in a Bondtech clamping style.
