I adapted only the bottom part of the extruder which holds the bowden coupler, flipping it so that it's actually on top. The original had a push-fit connector, but I didn't have one, so I recreated the hole as 6mm and added printed M6 threads to fit PC4-M6 fittings perfectly. These fittings are probably already in your collection from a previous extruder or can be easily sourced.
