Bondtech BMG Extruder adapter for Prusa Mini
thingiverse
Use an existing BMG Extruder or clone with your PrusaMini. You'll need 3 - M3 x 50mm SHCS 2 - M3 x 16mm SHCS Unfortunately, the PrusaMini screw on connector for the ptfe tube won't work on the extruder side. You'll need to cut their ptfe feeder tube on a single side... Just trim off that last 2mm or so, then the brass stopper will slide off, and then you connect the ptfe tube to the extruder using the BMG pneumatic connector. Here is the guide to remove the stock extruder. You'll also need to swap the red and blue wires on the extruder motor (to switch extrude/retract directions) and use the recommended starting g-code, as discussed in their guide. https://support.bondtech.se/Guide/01.+Feeder+Upgrade+Kit/59 There's a notch that helps lineup the adapter to the z-axis. I made it undersized since mine wouldn't print cleanly. It's just a helper for alignment so it doesn't matter if it turns out good or not. Print flat with the notch facing up and the face with 2 holes facing the build plate. (One side has 2 holes, the other side has 3 holes)
