Bondtech BMG Creality Mount (For Locknuts)
thingiverse
Updated Bytespider's original design to provide ample space for locknuts to secure the bracket onto the extruder mounting plate. This modification still allows normal nuts to be used if necessary. The pockets are loose enough that nuts will fall out, so applying a dab of glue or tape over them can keep them in place more effectively. The stepper motor will hold the locknuts firmly in position, making this step optional. I also closed off the open section as I didn't appreciate being able to see through to the stepper motor. Installation Process: 1. Insert Locknuts into recessed pockets. 2. Align BMG and Stepper Motor (Note: Stepper wire connection must be facing away from Lead Screw). 3. Use long BMG screws to attach Stepper Motor and BMG Extruder to bracket. 4. Use four M3x8mm screws to attach bracket to Extruder mounting plate. Requirements: 1. 4 x M3 8mm bolts. 2. 4 x M3 Nuts/Locknuts If you like my design or find it useful, consider leaving a tip or buying me a Ko-fi at http://ko.fi/aussiemaker.
