This is a simple ring, sized specifically to fit over the LED Ring on the BOND Smart Home device made by Olibra. The goal was to block most of the light coming from the device once normal operation is established. The BOND (used in my case to control RF Ceiling Fans) has worked well so far, but it's truly unnecessary to have a super-blue LED ring glowing intently at all hours of the night. I wanted to reduce the brightness without blocking it entirely, or the middle section, so I measured the LED ring and made a panel to block most of the light - just enough so that for troubleshooting you can see what it's doing (also, while I glued mine in place, I did so in one spot only, so you can lift it to see things clearly). I printed this as two layers, 0.2mm each. In black PLA, it was too translucent and didn't dampen the light enough, so I ended up using black PETG, which even at two layers was basically opaque. Once printed and fit verified, I put a drop of superglue at the top of the LED ring and adhered this cover in place. Now it can blend in to the background instead of staring like an eye in the night!
