Approximately 5 square meters of coral reef are explored during an exploratory dive in the Spermonde archipelago. Images used to develop this model come from a shared-task dataset utilized for ImageCLEFcoral 2019-21. Participants create deep learning algorithms to annotate 13 types of biological substrates based on training data provided by us. https://www.imageclef.org/2021/coral Data was captured using a 5-camera array in a circular pattern, approximately 2 minutes, resulting in a total of 266 images taken on timelapse.
