The CRJ1000, an accurate-to-scale replica with textures and materials, boasts numerous animatable features like turbines, landing gear, doors, ailerons, inboard flaps, and outboard flaps. Available in various formats, it was announced for development on February 19, 2007 as an extended version of the CRJ900X. The first production flight took place on July 28, 2009 in Montreal, with plans for entry into service by the first quarter of 2010. As of March 2014, 70 aircraft were delivered to airlines, while 36 remained unfilled.
