It is available in various formats for numerous applications. Bombardier unveiled the CRJ1000's development on February 19, 2007 - a stretched version of the CRJ900 with up to 100 seats. The aircraft completed its maiden flight on July 28, 2009 in Montreal, with plans for service entry in Q1 of 2010. As of March 2014, 70 units were delivered and 36 orders remained unfulfilled.
