The CRJ1000 is meticulously built to actual scale dimensions and features detailed textures and materials. Available in multiple formats for diverse applications, Bombardier unveiled the CRJ1000's development on February 19, 2007, as an extended version of the CRJ900X with up to 100 seats. The aircraft's first production flight took place on July 28, 2009, in Montreal, with plans for entry into service in Q1 2010. As of March 2014, 70 CRJ1000s have been delivered to airlines and 36 remain unfilled.
