Bomb Jar
thingiverse
- Just wanted a jar that looked like a bomb! So here ya go. Stands about 300mm tall once assembled. - The work-in-progress part: I'm making an LED/smart desk lamp variant of it... stay tuned! - The lugs to NOT have places marked on the body to attach to, you'll have to manually align and glue those on yourself. - Tolerances are built into the threads, so they should actually work when you print them! - See Cutaway pics for assembly instructions - ADDITIONAL MATERIALS REQUIRED: > A) 1ea R188 precision YoYo / fidget spinner bearing for the fuze and vanes to be able to go WOOOOSH like REALLY fast. (Overall dimensions of this bearing is 1/4" inner diameter, 1/2" outer diameter and 3/16" width... and if you'd like to make your own fuze/vanes the thread size I used is M22x3.0 with a -0.15mm offset face on the thread walls.) > B) 1ea M3x0.5 x 8mm socket head hex screw, to attach the fuze cap to the fuze shaft and retain the vane/bearing assembly
