A section of St Clement Danes Church on The Strand, London stands as a poignant reminder of a devastating day in history. Gutted by WW2 incendiary bombs on May 10th, 1941, the church's interior was left in ruins. However, when the church was rebuilt, this wall was carefully preserved to serve as a lasting memorial to that fateful day. St Clement Danes Church has a rich and storied past dating back to the 9th Century when it was first built by the Danish Community. The current structure of the church was constructed in 1681 by the renowned architect Christopher Wren, who is also famous for designing St Paul's Cathedral. The images captured on this site were taken with a Sony a6000 camera in June 2019 and processed using Agisoft Metashape software to reveal the striking details and textures of this historic landmark.
