**Update -- 09/13/2018** Added pics to the gallery of my remix for Prusa i3 MK2(s) & MK3 Spool Holder - Frame Mount - Top Loader" by MartinMajewski (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1832235). Still need to try the tapered version! **Update -- 08/20/2018** Finally got a bit of time to finish my first true implementation of this design. Applied it to the bolt for the amazing Prusa i3 MK2(s) & MK3 Spool Holder - Frame Mount - Top Loader" by MartinMajewski (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1832235). Dropped one of the holders and broke one of the bolts, which gave me the perfect chance to test it out. So far, it's good and strong. Also added a list of the bolts I've created so far, and if the design works, I'll be adding more as time permits. The list is at the bottom of the page. Next, hopefully, I want to implement the tapered version of bar as suggested by notstarman in the comments section. Thank you again for your input. See you soon! **End of Update** The bolt is printed vertically to get the best thread on it, but this makes the bolt weak and can easily break in half. However, we can print the bar horizontally so the layer alignment helps against lateral push, increasing the strength of the bolt from breaking in half. The bar should be tight inside the bolt with almost no play. Please note that this is still a work in progress, and I haven't had the time to fully test it. However, my bolts have been stronger so far. I'll be uploading more bolt sizes when I get the chance. The first one is an M8x40mm. If you print one and would like to test the design, please share your results and feedback in the comments section, and let's see those makes!!
