Human: Built Stroh's Mini Cross Bow http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:509659/#instructions Bought bolts and short bolts, including a pack of 10 short bolts. Printed vertically, with a 5-10% infill and a 2-2.5mm layer height using pla. Used pla and it worked great! The short bolts flew remarkably true. The long ones did not do as well. 1-11-14 Experimented some more and made a super short bolt that flew incredibly far, getting about thirty feet with it. Plus they'll be better suited for when I make proper mini-crossbow targets. Although that'll have to wait since my rubber plucking fingers arrived today, so my next project is making a drill mounted bird plucker. Added set of 10 target bolts with a 10 bolt holder as one print. 08-11-14 Tied the bow's cord. Tried abs and pla - they would break. Ended up using ninjaflex - which worked very well indeed. Other flexible filaments are available also!
