Boltex: Bolt maze meets cryptex, kind of...

Update v2 addresses some printing issues and provides better support to prevent high torque that could topple the bolt. It also improves the base and handle for ease of use, and fixes a tolerance problem that caused tightness between the bolt and outer shell on many printers. An alternative version can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1481. Embrace the challenge of the bolt maze! This design features an outer tube with parameterized accents, which protects an inner chamber that is revealed by solving the maze. Unsure about a "bolt maze"? It's not just a pattern on a bolt; you must rotate and translate a nut through the maze to remove its nut. This 75% full build space Rep1 contraption stores small candies like M&Ms, providing entertainment for kids - although the default maze may be too difficult for those under six. To use it, print two or so shells, remove the first layer support (which can be tall), store items inside the chamber, solve the maze to close, and reverse the process to open. The model can also be printed as a monolithic outer tube design. Note that the Customizer app may not render accents correctly, but they are included in the design.
