Boltby Scar: Barrow 2: North Facing section created using Agisoft Photoscan Pro. This newly exposed section, re-excavated trench dug in 1938/9 reveals that the original excavator boldly cut through a tree trunk coffin. The mound's remnants were mostly destroyed during the 18th century.
