BOLT250 - Armour

Carbon fiber frames, concrete, and bitumen do not get along very well together. We designed lightweight sacrificial body armor to safeguard your gear. If you're an avid ghetto racer, strap on this protective gear and fly farther with more power. Frontal strikes are deflected by the arm rails while a rollover also serves as protection for the same impact area. The lower bumpers handle end-on impacts solely, for underneath protection, inspect our landing skids. There is a cut-out on the rear bottom of the armor where you need to guide the battery cable when it comes out between the two protective plates; otherwise, this front bumper fits seamlessly in its spot. We suggest securing everything with hot glue for semi-permanent attachment and use M3 screws to join the upper and lower sections, if needed; two zip ties can get the job done.
