Bolt Together AR-15 Castle Nut

This text is for the AR-15_Bolt_Lower_Receiver_v2.0-RollTroll from the FOSSCAD_MEGA_PACK_v4.8_(Ishikawa).\r\nOnce I assembled my rifle, I noticed that the castle nut included with my kit wouldn't work with the 3D printed lower due to the buffer tower on the lower being too thick.\r\nTo fix this problem, I made my own castle nut out of ABS plastic.\r\nYou'll need at least two 8-32x1/2" screws; five is recommended, and two 2-56x1/2" screws.\r\nTo increase strength, you must dip the part in acetone for 30 seconds, then heat it with a hot air gun until it's no longer tacky. Next, let the part dry for one hour before tapping the 8-32 threads.\r\nThe 8-32 screws hold the plastic castle nut in place on the buffer tube. The 2-56 screws are driven into recessed holes in the rear of the buffer tower to prevent the castle nut from rotating. When inserting the castle nut over your buffer tube, keep in mind that it will be a tight fit due to filament shrinkage; adjust your scale accordingly.
