Bolt Slot Cover for Givi Topbox Adapter Plate
thingiverse
One of the bolt slot covers for my motorcycle's Givi adapter plate was missing so I designed and built a replacement to install in its place. Print Settings Printer: Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 80% Notes: It prints best when oriented right side up with a raft and 2 mm supports but you may find success using different methods (if so, please share). My preferred filament is carbon reinforced PETG. I am not ashamed to display the telltale lines of a 3D print; I want my parts to proudly say they were made by their owner. To give the surfaces a nice graphite finish use steel wool. Post-Printing Cover after installation Carbon PETG 3D-print on the left, factory version on the right. I prefer the "carbon" one more than the factory cover; I think I will print another and archive the original cover.
