Bolt Halo Fidget Spinner - Wingnut2k #9
thingiverse
I designed a unique spinner style that sets itself apart from others on this site. Four screws secure the central ring, while this one relies on (4) 1/4" nuts, (4) 1/4"x1" screws, and one 608 bearing for stability.\nThe design is slightly thicker and heavier than standard spinners, but remains easy to handle. The center ring measures 11.5 mm in height, with a ball bearing diameter of 7mm. Four recessed areas on the ring accommodate the screws, providing additional support and securing the central ring in place. The outer piece has a thickness of 11.5mm, designed to keep screw heads from protruding excessively.\nThis spinner measures approximately 3 inches in diameter.\nThe design consists of two pieces, allowing for the center ring to be printed in a different color if desired.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand:\nPowerSpec\nPrinter:\nPowerSpec 3D Pro\nRafts:\nNo\nSupports:\nYes\nResolution:\n0.2mm\nInfill:\n100%\nNotes:\nI opted for supports because the screw holes are only 6.5mm in diameter. I have not attempted printing without supports.
