Bolt Halo Fidget Spinner - Wingnut2k #5
thingiverse
I designed a unique spinner that stands out from others on this site. The central ring is secured by three screws. This version employs three 1/4-inch nuts, three 1/4-by-1-inch screws, and one 608 bearing. This design is slightly thicker and heavier than standard spinners, yet it remains manageable. The central ring measures 9mm in height (the ball bearing is 7mm). The ring features three recessed areas where the screws can be inserted to help hold the center ring securely in place. The outer piece is 11.5mm thick, allowing screw heads to remain flush. The spinner's diameter is approximately 3 inches. It consists of two separate pieces, enabling users to print the central ring in a different color if desired. Edit: I have uploaded designs that use #10 screws instead of 1/4-inch screws, resulting in an overall thickness of 9mm. Print Settings: Printer Brand: PowerSpec Printer: PowerSpec 3D Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: I chose to use supports because the screw holes measure only 6.5mm in diameter. I have not attempted printing without supports.
