Creating a bolt and nut assembly in NX CAD is straightforward. Begin by launching NX CAD on your computer. Once open, select 'New Design' from the start-up menu to initiate a new project. Assign a name to your design and choose a suitable unit of measurement for your project. Navigate to the Component dialog box where you can create a bolt or nut component. Click on the 'Component' button at the top left corner of the screen to access this feature. From there, select the 'Standard' category from the drop-down menu. Within the Standard category, you will find both bolts and nuts available for selection. Choose the type of fastener you need by clicking on it. Then click on 'Create Component' to add it to your design. To configure the dimensions of your bolt or nut component, switch to the 'Dimensions' tab at the top of the screen. Here, you can modify various parameters such as thread pitch, length, and diameter according to your specific requirements. Once satisfied with your fastener's specifications, click on the 'Save As' button to save it for future use in other designs or projects.
