Bologna beast

Poultry all mixed together - Bologna chicken pig cow turkey united as one. I included some concept thumbnail sketches of alternative designs too because I thought combining different varieties into a single herd would be super entertaining to design. Next I used oil-based clay to rough out the body shape, then used a stick to prop it up so it wouldn't fall over while I sculpted it. After that I scanned the sculpture and brought it into Z-brush for some major refinement - adding some finishing touches by smoothing out bumpy bits decimating any unnecessary areas and giving it tail feathers to round out the look. Finally I wrapped things up in Z-brush by adding a base for display purposes.
